GOLFZON Match Play Final January 23 at the PGA Show in Orlando with $150k First Prize
Wayne, PA, January 21, 2025: Golf Genius, the golf industry’s leading provider of cloud solutions for golfers, golf professionals, facilities, academies, tours and associations announced that Golf Genius Tournament Management has been named the official live scoring platform for the GOLFZON Tour. GOLFZON, founded in 2000, is widely recognized as the world leader in golf simulator technology. The GTOUR has been a competitive simulator league sensation in South Korea since 2012 and launched in North America last October as the GOLFZON Tour.
Golf Genius Tournament Management, which includes the most comprehensive and versatile live scoring engine in the industry, was selected to score the GOLFZON Tour match play tournament. The format involves twelve geographically dispersed teams comprised of five players. Three players are then selected for each match and their two best scores per hole are scored. The teams play in local GOLFZON simulator sites from around the world that are virtually connected for a real time, live competition. The playoff matches have been streamed on YouTube and golfzontour.com over the past few months culminating in a tournament final to be played live on the PGA Show floor at booth #2727 in Orlando on January 23rd on the company’s latest simulator – the TwoVisionNX. The winning team will take home the $150,000 grand prize and will be crowned the inaugural GOLFZON Tour Champions.
