Format |
This event is a one-day 18-hole Four-Ball Stroke Play competition. There will be a sudden death playoff to determine the champion (1st Place Net). If necessary, all other prizes will be determined by a matching of cards, using the USGA’s recommended method. In the event a team is the leader for both the low gross and the low net competition, they will have the option to decide which prize to take and there score will be eliminated from the other division. No team may win more than one prize.
All male contestants shall compete at 85% of their current Course Handicap on a net better-ball basis. The USGA Rules for Four-Ball Stroke Play shall govern all play. Players should familiarize themselves with Rule 23 in the USGA Rules of Golf.

Eligibility |
This competition is a two-man team event. Each player must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 20.0 under the World Handicapping System at the time the team attempts to qualify at the club level. Players with handicaps that exceed this Handicap Index Range are not eligible to compete by agreeing to play with the handicaps within the eligible range. The combined Handicap Index of the team may not exceed 36.0. Team members must belong to the same club and are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations.
Exemptions: The 2021 Net and Gross Champions are exempt into the Championship proper. All prior Net Champions are exempt into Sectional Qualifying.

Carts/Caddies |
• Players are required to use a motorized golf cart.
• Players may bring their own caddie.
• Players may not carry their own bag.
• Players are not permitted to use pull carts.
• It is strongly recommended that caddies wear shoes without spikes or tread.
• Final information will be provided in the Memorandum to Players, which will be released prior to the event.
