Format

This event is a one-day 36-hole stroke play competition for both male and female golfers, conducted on both the Upper and Lower courses at Baltusrol Golf Club. The Carter Cup Champion will be awarded in both the Boys and Girls divisions with the lowest score over 36 holes.

If necessary to determine the champion for either division, there will be a sudden death playoff which will begin immediately at the conclusion of regular play. All players should keep informed as to the time and status of any playoff.

Eligibility

The Carter Cup, the MGA’s Junior Stroke Play Championship, is an invitational event open to male and female golfers who are 18 years of age or younger and who have not yet started attending college.

Carts/Caddies • This is a walking only event.
• Caddies are not permitted.
• Players must carry their own bag.
• Pull carts will be approved on a course by course basis, please consult the Memorandum to Players.
• Final information will be provided in the Memorandum to Players, which will be released prior to the event.
Food Service Breakfast and Lunch will be available in a fixed window, please consult the Memorandum to Players for times and locations.
