ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The English Senior Women’s Amateur Championship is a stroke play/match play competition. All competitors will play 36 holes stroke play, one round on each of the first two days.
The Match Play element is played in two flights:
Wendy Taylor Salver: The players with the 16 lowest scores after the stroke play rounds will qualify for the Championship Matches.
Ann Howard Trophy: Open to players aged 60 and over on the first day of the Championship, the 8 players in the flight with the lowest scores after the stroke play rounds will qualify for the match play stages.
Entry Fee: £90
Entry Closing Date: Wednesday 16 April (17:00)
Maximum Handicap: 16.0
Team Competition
Competitors will be able to select a team of 3 for the Stroke Play stages. The winning team will be the team with the lowest aggregate score over 36 holes of stoke play, taking the best two of three scores in each round. Prizes will be awarded for the leading scratch and handicap teams.
