Parent-Child Amateur Division Player Information

The format is 18-holes of alternate shot except that both team members hit from each tee and then select the ball to be played (modified alternate shot). A team must complete the hole with the ball selected. Teams are flighted according to team handicap index formula using 2/3 low index plus 1/3 high index. Merchandise credit will be awarded to winners in each division. |
| Eligibility | Entry is open to any team comprised of a parent and child, regardless of age, in any gender combination excluding male-male. Step-parents, grandparents and in-laws are eligible. At least one member of each team must: 1. be a legal resident of one of the Carolinas; 2. be a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) and have an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index® at a CGA member club |

| Spectator & Caddie Information | Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time or rent a spectator cart except as provided in the
CGA Tournament Manual. Caddie Information: Caddies are NOT permitted. |
