| Format | This event is 18 holes of stroke play, followed by match play for 31 qualifiers plus the defending champion. The defending champion is exempt into match play. If there is a tie for the 32nd position, there will be a sudden death play-off immediately following the conclusion of play. |
| Match Play Seeding | General numerical draw will be used. For purposes of determining places in the draw, ties in the qualifying round will be decided by a blind draw, including places of those participating in a play-off for the final qualifying position. |
| Eligibility | Amateur members of MGA Member Clubs on Long Island or the MGA eClub – Long Island with an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 4.0 under the USGA Rules of Handicapping. |
| Carts/Caddies | • This is a walking only event • Players may bring their own caddie. • Players may carry their own bag. • Pull carts will be approved on a course by course basis, please consult the Memorandum to Players. • It is strongly recommended that caddies wear shoes without spikes or tread. • Final information will be provided in the Memorandum to Players, which will be released prior to the event. |
