Grab a golfing buddy and get excited to play together in our Team Junior One Day at Pinehurst No. 6! Whether you’re just getting into playing tournaments or one of you has been playing for a while, this fun laid back format will give everyone a chance to enjoy the competition while playing with friends!

| Eligibility | Entry is open to any female and male amateur golfer ages 6-18 who has not started college and is a legal resident of North Carolina. |
| Registration | One player from each team will register the team and pay the entry fee. Players will compete with another player, regardless of gender, from their age range (12-18 or 6-11). |
| Format |
Teams of two players will compete in a
Four-Ball format. Teams must consist of players from the same age range.
Each team member will compete from their specified tees on each hole but only
the lowest score will count on each hole. Example if John makes a 6 but Jane
makes a 4, the team score will be 4. Players ages 12-18 will play 18-holes. Players ages 6-11 will play 9-holes. |

| Starting Times |
Players age 12-18:
starting times will range from 11:00am to 12:50pm. Players age 6-11: starting times will range from 1:00pm to 1:30pm. Starting times will be posted 3 days in advance of tournament date. |

Boys 14-15 and Boys 16-18: 6200-6700 yards Boys 12-13 and Girls 12-18: 5000-5500 yards Boys and Girls 10-11: 2000-2200 yards Boys and Girls 8-9: 1600-1800 yards Boys and Girls 6-7: 1250-1400 yards Yardages are subject to change based on entries. |
| Field Size |
76 players maximum 24 teams for players ages 12-18. 14 teams for players age 6-11. |
| Electronic Measuring Devices | Players may use an approved measuring device during this event. |
| Push/Pull Carts | Push carts are allowed and encouraged at all TYGA tournaments. |
| Caddie Information |
Caddies are NOT allowed for players
age 12-18. Caddies are REQUIRED for players age 6-11. Caddies must be 16 years of age or older. |
| Spectator and Parent Policy | Spectator Information:
Spectator carts will be available to rent in order of tee time and based on
availability. The rental fee will be $15 for 9-holes and $30 for
18-holes. Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. |
| Withdrawal and Refund Policy |
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from
the event online
or by contacting the TYGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the day of the
tournament.
If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be
suspended from TYGA events for 1 year. Refund Policy: A $20 administrative fee will be charged to all withdrawals. |
| Prizes | Medals are awarded to each divisional winner, runner-up and second runner-up. |
| Rankings | This event will NOT count towards rankings. It will be a day of friendly competition! |
| Handicap Posting | TYGA does not post one day tournament scores to player's GHIN handicap record. |
