| Eligibility |
Entry is open to any male amateur golfer ages 8-18 as of June 25, 2021, who has not started college, is a legal resident of North Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) and has a current USGA Handicap Index® at a CGA member club that does not exceed 18.3. |
| Format | The championship format is match play with an 18-hole stroke play qualifier (Tuesday, June 22nd) to determine the seeding for match play. The top 64 boys from the stroke play qualifier will advance to match play. Once a player loses a match they are eliminated from the tournament. |
| Age Divisions |
There are no age divisions. Boys will compete in one division. |
| Starting Times |
8 am
am double tee start. Starting times will be posted on June 17, 2021. |
| Course Setup | Boys will compete at approximately 6,348 yards par 71 (Black tees) |
| Field Size | 144 players |
| Electronic Measuring Devices | Players may use an approved measuring device during this event. |
| Push/Pull Carts | Push carts area allowed and encouraged at all CGA tournaments. |

| Caddie Information | Caddie are allowed. Caddies must be 18 years of age or younger. No exceptions. |
| Spectator and Parent Policy |
Spectator Information:
Spectator carts will only be available to individuals with a physical
limitation and/or handicap placard at a rate of $20 per cart. Spectator carts are
restricted to the cart path at all times. Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. |
| Withdrawal and Refund Policy |
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by
contacting the CGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.
If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be
suspended from CGA events for 1 year. Refund Policy: A $30 administrative fee will be charged to all withdrawals. |
| Prizes | Trophies are awarded to the champion, runner-up, semifinalists, quarterfinalists, and the stroke play qualifying medalist. |
| Handicap Posting | CGA will post stroke play tournament scores to player's GHIN handicap record. |
