I have been playing golf since around 14 years old started taking it pretty serious and then well you know life happens. I started playing with my wife which is a lefty but then she was pregnant with our first child in 2007 and we pretty much put golf on the back burner. I have played off and on between 2007 and 2018 just local tournaments mainly captains choice. I have always loved the game and really enjoyed being competitive while playing. This past October 2019 I played in my first VSGA Virginia State stroke tourny. and was hooked. I want to continue to improve my handicap is around a 10 but took my first lessons and it has fallen to a mid 11 while I am learning my new groove. my personal goal is to play the GCAT to improve my game and make great new friends.
