. In 2016 we decided to rebrand the event The SGA Championships. After 11 years as the ASGCC, something a little more concise was needed and the obvious change was changing to The Social Golf Australia Championships and then shortening that to The SGA Championships. Click here for the full SGA Championships website. 09_ASGCC_ac_150_logo.jpg The SGA Championships is a 72-hole single stableford tournament for amateur golfers with GOLF Link numbers, and features awards for individual grade winners. The event is an official National Championship supported by Golf Australia and attracts golfers from around Australia every August to compete for the National title. The prize pool is over $20,000 with prizes each day and at the final presenation dinner. To add to the fun and to give out more prizes, we also have a four-player team event playing stableford aggregate where player’s individual stableford scores are added together to make a team total.){kind=logo}
