Celebrating the past 50 years and NEXT 50 years!

Since 1971, residents of the Pacific Northwest have benefitted from the combined artistry of renown golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. and the brilliant vision of the City of Portland to transform the flooded site of Vanport City into the recreational oasis we now call home, Heron Lakes Golf Course.

GolfPDX, the Heron Lakes Men's & Women's Golf Clubs and the First Tee invite the local community to join us for a day full of golf and celebration! This event offers two golf tournaments, day-long golf skills challenges, themed prizes & commemorative merchandise, as well as historical and educational exhibits. We will conclude the celebration with an evening concert & ceremony featuring live 70s music, food and drink samplings from local vendors, tournament & contest awards, raffle drawings and more!
