Championship Player Information

Exempt Registration Opens June 9 at 8:00 p.m.

Format & Prizes
The championship is contested over 36 holes using a mixed format of four-ball stroke play and modified alternate shot. This competition includes gross scores only. Teams may choose to compete in any division in which they are eligible: Championship Division, Tournament Division (shorter course than Championship Division), Senior Division (ages 55+ for males, ages 50+ for females), Super Senior Division (ages 65+ for males and females).
All divisions will be flighted by 18-hole scores, based on the number of entries.
Overall champions and low scorers in each division will receive trophies. Merchandise will be awarded to low scorers in each flight. Any tie for the overall championship and/or division winners is decided by an on-course playoff. All other ties for merchandise will be decided by a scorecard playoff.
All players receive a $25 gift certificate to use on F&B.
Eligibility Age Limit: 13 & older (see above for division age limits)
Must Have a Valid and Active Handicap Index
Maintains Residence in NC or SC

Competition Schedule August 15: Practice Rounds Available
August 16: Round 1 - 18 Holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play.
August 17: Round 2 - 18 Holes of Modified Alternate Shot.  Awards immediately after play.

Registration There is no formal registration.
Food Service Information All players receive a $25 gift certificate to use for F&B or as they choose. All other food and beverage will be at the player’s expense.
Spectator & Caddie Information Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time or rent a spectator cart except as provided in the CGA Tournament Manual.
**Due to the limited number of available carts, spectator carts will not be available**

Caddie Information:
Caddies are NOT permitted at CGA Events. Model Local Rules H-1.1 is in effect.
