70th Ike MGA Stroke Play Championship

Format |
54-hole Stroke Play Championship.
After the first 18-holes on Monday, June 23, the field will be cut to the low 40 players & ties and all players within five (5) strokes of the lead. 36-holes will be played on Tuesday, June 24, to determine a Champion.
In the event of a tie for the Championship, a three (3) hole aggregate playoff will be held immediately following the conclusion of play. In the event of a tie after three holes, the tied players will immediately continue to playoff hole-by-hole until a champion is determined. |

Eligibility |
The competition is open to amateur golfers who are members of an MGA Member Club. A person who does not reside in the MGA territory and who is not a full-time student or employed in the MGA territory cannot join an MGA Member Club for the purpose of entering the Ike Championship. All entrants must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 5.0 under the USGA Handicap System and are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations.

2. USGA Champions and members of the Walker Cup team from the last 10 years
3. Individual Ike and Met Amateur Champions prior to 1986
4. Top 10 individual finishers in the 2024 Ike Championship
5. Met Amateur Quarterfinalists from 2024
6. 2024 Ike Team Champions.
7. Current Champion of the NJSGA, WGA, NYC, NYSGA, CSGA, and LIGA Amateur and Open Championships by June 22, 2025
8. Current MGA Public Links, Mid-Amateur, Junior, and Carter Cup Champions
9. 2025 MGA Senior Amateur Champion
10. Low Amateur in the 2024 Met Open Championship
11. Top 500 in the Men’s World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) at the time of entry
12. The 2024 MGA Player of the Year Honor Roll
13. Top Five Leaders on the 2025 MGA Player of the Year list by Sunday, May 18, 2025
14. The leader on the 2025 MGA Player of the Year list as of Friday, June 6, 2025
15. A representative team (two players) from the Championship Host Club – Hamilton Farm
