Format


Pinehurst (18 holes, Stroke Play). Both partners tee off from their assigned tee and then each plays a second shot with the other's ball. After the second shot, a choice is made regarding the ball with which the hole will be completed. Alternating shots will be continued until the hole is completed. On par three holes, the choice must be made after the tee shots.

The team with the lowest gross score will be the Champions. In the event of a tie at the completion of play, all ties will be decided by USGA Match of Cards.

Prizes will be awarded to the low teams (Gross & Net) and the low Professional team
Eligibility



Both male and female partners must be a member of an MGA Member Club and have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 14.0 and based on ratings for women not exceeding 18.0, both under the USGA Rules of Handicapping. Partners do not need to be members of the same club. All entrants are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations.

Note: Either the Male or Female may be the Professional if entering into the Professional Division. The Amateur must have a handicap of 14.0 (M)/18.0 (F) or less.
Carts/Caddies • Players are required to use a motorized golf cart. The cost of the cart is included in your entry fee.
• Players may bring their own caddie.
• Players may not carry their own bag.
• Players are not permitted to use pull carts.
• It is strongly recommended that caddies wear shoes without spikes or tread.
• Final information will be provided in the Memorandum to Players, which will be released prior to the event.
Food Service Breakfast and Lunch will be available in a fixed window, please consult the Memorandum to Players for times and locations.

Long Island Golf Association



A Team may win both the MGA & LIGA Championship. If both of the Mixed Pinehurst team are members of a Long Island MGA Member Club, their score will be counted towards both the MGA Championship and the LIGA Championship.
Westchester Golf Association



A Team may win both the MGA & WGA Championship. If both of the Mixed Pinehurst team are members of a MGA Member Clubs in the nine county area, their score will be counted towards both the MGA Championship and the WGA Championship.
