Eligibility |
Entry is open to any male amateur
golfer who has not reached his 19th birthday as of the final round of the
championship proper, who has not started college, and and maintains a residence
in South Carolina or North

Acceptance Process | Entries will open on July 15th at 8:00pm for exempt players only. Registration will open to all eligible players on July 29th at 8:00pm all registrants at this time will be placed on the pending list. Players on the pending list will be accepted into the field in order based on the August Carolinas Junior Boys' Rankings on August 27th by 5:00pm. Five spots will remain unfilled for the successful qualifiers from the qualifier on Sept. 7th. |

Round 1 & 2: Shotgun Start
at 8:30 AM (players will remain on course for Round 2. Round 3: Shotgun will begin at 9:00 AM Groupings for Round 1 will be posted 5 days in advance of tournament date. |
Push/Pull Carts | Push carts area allowed and encouraged at all CGA junior championships. |
Electronic Measuring Devices | Players may use an approved measuring device during this event (NO SLOPE). |
Caddie Information | Caddies are NOT allowed. |

Results will be used for CGA

GHIN Posting | CGA WILL post scores to a player's GHIN handicap record. |
Spectator Policy |
Spectator Information:
Spectator carts are allowed at a rate of $40 per cart on Saturday and $25 on
Sunday. Spectator carts are
restricted to the cart path at all times. Spectator Policy: Spectators are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all spectators remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. Please view our Spectator Policies for more details. |
Withdrawal and Refund Policy |
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from
the event online or by contacting the CGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the
day of the tournament. If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no
show" and you will be suspended from CGA events for 1 year. *NEW* Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted THREE Days Prior or more from tournament date will receive a refund of the entry fee minus a $30 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into the tournament. Withdrawals submitted less than three days before the tournament will not receive any refund. |
