Open Division Player Information

| Format & Prizes |
The format is 18-holes of alternate shot except that both team members hit from each tee and then select the ball to be played (modified alternate shot). A team must complete the hole with the ball selected. Teams are flighted according to team handicap index formula using 2/3 low index plus 1/3 high index. Open division competes at gross and net. Flights & net scores are calculated using 40% of the amateur partners' course handicap. Golf professionals play at scratch handicap. Merchandise credit will be awarded to winners in each division. |
| Eligibility | Entry is open to any team comprised of one professional and one amateur regardless of gender. At least one member of each team must: 1. be a legal resident of one of the Carolinas; 2. have an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index® at a CGA member club or is a golf professional employed at a CGA member club. |

Male Professional age 64 or under: 6500 yards Male Amateur or Professional age 65 or older: 5600 yards Male Amateur ages 14-64: 6000-6200 yards Male Amateur ages 12-13: 5600 yards Female Professional: 5200 yards Female Amateur age 50 or older: 4800 yards Female Amateur ages 12-49: 5200 yards Male or Female Amateur ages 8-11: 4800 yards |

| Spectator & Caddie Information | Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time or rent a spectator cart except as provided in the
CGA Tournament Manual. Caddie Information: Caddies are NOT permitted. |
