Format & Prizes |
Championship is conducted at 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. This competition includes gross scores only. Teams have the option of competing in the Championship Division or the Senior Division (both teammates must be 50+). Teams are pre-flighted within division based on low Handicap Index of the partners. The overall champion can come from any flight within the Championship Division and the senior champion can come from any flight within the Senior Division. Merchandise is awarded to the top finishers in each flight. |
Eligibility |
Age Limit: 13 and older.
Must be 50+ to compete in the Senior Division. Maintain residence in North Carolina or South Carolina (maintains residence means legal resident of NC or SC; or enrolled and attends on-campus college/university in NC/SC; or currently lives in and has lived in NC/SC for at least 5 of the previous 12 months prior to the championship start date) Must have a valid USGA Handicap Index at a CGA Member Club See Entry Form for More Details |

Registration | There is no formal registration. Players should be at their first tee 10 minutes before their starting time. Players will receive player gifts in the scoring area after the first round. |
Food Service Information | Lunch will be provided for players on June 6. All other food and beverage will be at the player’s expense. |
Spectator & Caddie Information | Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships.
Spectator carts will NOT be available. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time. Caddie Information: Caddies are allowed for championship rounds. During the play of a hole, either the player or her caddie may ride in a golf cart, but not both at the same time. Caddies will not be available at the host club. |
