ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The English Amateur Championship consists of stroke play qualifying with the leading players progressing into match play.
204 Men and 84 Women will play 18 holes of stroke play on each of the first two days, with one round on each of the two courses. The top 64 men and 32 women will progress to the match play stages of the championship.

Renowned golf architect James Braid has lent his brilliance to some of the holes, with the most awe-inspiring being the tenth. To conquer this hole, golfers need a straight drive and a precise second shot amid the striking dunes.
Measuring 6298 yards from the back tees, this par-70 course presents a rewarding challenge for players of all levels. Ladies enjoy their own set of tees, making it a delightful 5562-yard experience with a par of 72.
