Championship Player Information

Format & Prizes
Championship is conducted at 54 holes of stroke play. There is no cut and this competition includes gross scores only. Players have the option of competing in the Championship Division or the Carolinas Division (shorter course). The overall champion can come from any flight within the Championship Division. There are NO flights in either division. Merchandise is awarded to the top finishers in each division. Prizes for the low Senior (ages 50+) and the low Super Senior (65+) in the Carolinas Division will be awarded.

Eligibility Age Limit: 13 and older. Must be 50+ to be eligible for the Senior award and 65+ to be eligible for Super Senior award. 
Maintains residence in North Carolina or South Carolina (maintains residence means legal resident of NC or SC; or enrolled and attends on-campus college/university in NC/SC; or currently lives in and has lived in NC/SC for at least 5 of the previous 12 months prior to the championship start date)
Must have a valid USGA Handicap Index at a CGA member club

*Please note: There will be no on-site food & beverage during the practice round other than the club snack bar.
Registration Registration will be on June 7 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Players will receive tournament information and player gifts.
Players will have the option to create a temporary account by putting a credit card on file at Yeamans Hall Club that will be used for club purchases throughout the week. This is strongly encouraged.
Practice Areas Driving range will be open by 7:00 a.m. each day. Players may use the driving range ONLY before the round. The range will NOT be open to players in the afternoon (members only).
Practice putting greens and short game areas will remain open to players throughout the week.
Food Service Information Lunch will be provided for players on all tournament days. All other food and beverage will be at the player’s expense.
*Please note: Breakfast will NOT be available on-site.
Spectator & Caddie Information Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships.
Spectator carts will NOT be available FOR ANY REASON. All carts will be in use by players, CGA staff and club staff.
Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time.
Caddie Information:
Caddies are allowed for championship rounds. During the play of a hole, either the player or her caddie may ride in a golf cart, but not both at the same time. Caddies will not be available at the host club.

Payment Options: YHC will collect credit card information (Mastercard, Visa, American Express) and create temporary accounts for players to make purchases throughout the week. Temporary accounts will be charged for all purchases at the end of the tournament.
Personal Push Carts are Permitted
YHC Technology Policy: Club policy is for mobile communication devices to be placed on silent and any conversations be limited to your vehicle. Non-disruptive use such as text or email is considered acceptable if done discreetly and out of public view. In addition, the club forbids use of any type of audible speaker to play music or other broadcasts, including on the course.
