| Format | The MGA Public Links Championship is a 36-hole stroke play event. In the event of a tie at the completion of play, the
Championship will be decided by a sudden death playoff which will begin immediately at the conclusion of regular
play. All players should keep informed as to the time and status of any playoff. Please note: The MGA reserves the right to alter second round tee times and pairings. |
| Eligibility | The competition is open to male amateur golfers who reside in the MGA territory and do not have playing privileges at any course (e.g. a golf facility outside of the Met Area) at which the general public is excluded. A person who does not reside in the MGA territory, and who is not a full-time student or employed in the MGA territory, cannot join a club for the purpose of entering the MGA Public Links Championship. |

| Carts/Caddies | • This is a walking only event. • Players may bring their own caddie. • Players may carry their own bag. • Pull carts will be approved on a course by course basis, please consult the Memorandum to Players. • It is strongly recommended that caddies wear shoes without spikes or tread. • Final information will be released in the Memorandum to Players, which will be released prior to the event. |
