Championship Player Information

Championship Entry Fee $100
Format & Prizes Championship is conducted at 36 holes of stroke play in the Championship and Junior Divisions. The Sub-Junior Division competes in 18 holes of stroke play (9 holes per day). Regardless of age, any player may choose to compete in the Championship Division or Junior Division. Players in the Sub-Junior Division must be 12 years of age or younger. Trophies are awarded to the champion and the top three players in each division.
Eligibility Age Range: 15 Years and Under
USGA Handicap Index NOT required
Maintains Residence in North Carolina or South Carolina

Competition Schedule July 11: Practice Rounds Available.
July 12: Round 1 - 18 Holes stroke play beginning at 8:00 a.m.
July 13: Round
2 - 18 Holes stroke play beginning at 9:00 a.m. (shotgun).
Players' Cookout All social/banquet functions will be based on current COVID-19 policies. A decision about banquets will be made no later than one month in advance and communicated to players via email and on this player info page.

On Sunday, July 11 the CGA will host a cookout for all players that is included in the entry fee. College players will be at the cookout to socialize with players and parents. At the end of dinner, college players will host a clinic on the driving range to discuss their experiences with junior golf and transitioning to college golf. Players and parents are encouraged to bring their questions for the panel. Attendance at the Rules meeting and cookout is strongly encouraged.
Parents and spectators may attend the cookout for an additional $20 fee, paid in cash, check or card at the door.

7:15pm - College Players Clinic and Q&A Session

Practice Range All practice range balls will be provided. Practice areas will open by 7:00 a.m. on competition days.

Registration Registration will be on Sunday, July 11 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the clubhouse. Players will receive player gifts and more information about the tournament. Registration and attendance at the Rules Meeting/Cookout/College Players Panel is strongly encouraged.
Food Service Information Banquets may be held based on current COVID-19 protocols. Lunch will be provided for players after each round. All other food and beverage is at the player’s expense.
Spectator & Caddie Information Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships. Spectator carts will be available to purchase for $25.
Please review the CGA Parent/Spectator Policy before attending the championship.
Caddie Information:
Players must walk at all times, but may use a caddie. Caddies must be 18 years of age or younger, no exceptions. Caddies must walk at all times.
Push/Pull Carts Players and/or caddies may use a push/pull cart. The host club has a limited number of push/pull carts available for rent.
