Players are strongly encouraged to review these policies before registering for events, as the ability to have events rely solely on following these policies and taking every possible preventative measure to keep all individuals at the event as safe as possible.

THE COURSE - SHAKER HEIGHTS COUNTRY CLUB
Shaker Heights Country Club provides you with a world-class golfing experience in Northeast Ohio. A championship 18-hole golf course designed by the legendary Donald Ross awaits. Golfing greats such as Walter Hagen, Arnold Palmer, Payne Stewart, Mark O'Meara and Fred Couples have played our course. The facility also includes a driving range, putting green and two chipping areas to hone your skills.
FORMAT
An individual gross stroke play competition, in which each player competes against all other players within their selected division.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all amateur golfers. Must be a member of a NOGA Member Club with an ACTIVE GHIN Handicap Index of 7.4 or lower during registraion
CART POLICY
Only one player per cart per the NOGA COVID-19 tournament policies. If a player plans to use a cart, they must select “Cart” at the time of registration. Carts will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis and MUST be selected at the time of registration. Players are encouraged to walk to help increase the size of the field.
FIELD SIZE
Based on available starting times (9:30 am - 2:30 pm), carts (one player per cart), and additional players who walk or use a push cart. If the event is full, players can still register and be placed on the Waiting List. Players will NOT be charged until they have been placed on the active tournament roster.
HANDICAP INDEX LIMIT
With Handicaps being revised daily under the new World Handicap System (WHS), Handicap Indexes will be revised the morning AFTER entries close.

SEASON LONG MATCH PLAY
Brackets for both the Open and Senior Divisions will be based on field size. Matches will be played at GROSS throughout the season at the home club of the lower seeded player

Open Division (Women) - approx. 5,800 yards Senior Division (Women) - approx. 5,350 yards

Threesomes.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
After the event, players can choose to redeem their Gift Certificate at the Host Club OR have their gift certificate sent back to the club chose during registration.
TIES
NOGA will retain ties.
