THE COURSE - MAYFIELD COUNTRY CLUB
Opened in 1911 and built by its first golf professional, W.H. "Bert" Way, the Mayfield course features rolling terrain, tree lined fairways and two streams that run through the 235 acre property. Known for its fine conditioning and fast greens, the course offers unique challenges to all types of players. With par at 71, it is easy to be deceived, as there are five par three holes. From any length players find themselves with varying lies which require shots to be hit to small, undulating and well bunkered greens. The tournament course record of 63 by Byron Nelson (1941) has yet to be broken.
FORMAT
Four-Ball. Two players compete together as a side, each playing their own ball. The lower score of the two players is the sides score for that hole. With Handicaps being revised daily under the new World Handicap System (WHS), Handicap Indexes will be revised the morning AFTER entries close
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all amateur golfers. Must be a member of a NOGA Member Club with an ACTIVE GHIN Handicap Index

FIELD SIZE
82 players. If the event is full, players can still register and be placed on the Waiting List. Players will NOT be charged until they are placed on the active tournament roster.
HANDICAP INDEX
With Handicaps being revised daily under the new World Handicap System (WHS), Handicap Indexes will be revised the morning AFTER entries close.
PLAYING HANDICAP
Using 85% of a players Course Handicap.
SEASON LONG MATCH PLAY
The top 32 teams from the Net Four-Ball Qualifier will play matches against the other qualifying players exclusively from that event, seeded into brackets by NET score.
Each Net Four-Ball match played during the course of the season will be played at 85% of the player's full, current handicap as of the day of the match.
