Player Information
| Registration Opens | March 16, 2020 at 8 pm |

| Entry Fee(s) | $40 per player |
| Eligibility | NC junior golfers who are in grades 6-8 (classes of 2024, 2025 and 2026). Open to public, private and home schooled juniors. |
| Acceptance | Entry is open to the first 72 juniors (regardless of gender) to register on line beginning at 8 pm on March 16. Entry fee will be collected at time of registration. A $20 administrative fee is deducted from all refunds. |
| Format | The championship is conducted at 18-holes of stroke play with a maximum score of 8 on any hole. All players, regardless of gender, will play from the same tees. |
| Coaches | Each school may designate one person to serve as the team coach. Coaches may give advice to their players between holes but on during a hole. |
| Divisions | All competitors compete in division based on gender. There are no age divisions. |
| Team Composition | NO TEAM COMPETITION |
| Starting Times |
Round one starts with a 10:30 am single tee. Last starting time will be appox. 2 pm. Starting times will be posted 7 days in advance of tournament date. |
| Course Setup | All competitors (girls and boys) will play from 5,471 yard (5 tees) par 72. |

| Electronic Measuring Devices | Players may use an approved measuring device during this event. |
| Push/Pull Carts | Push carts are allowed. |
| Caddie Information | Caddies are not allowed. |
| Spectator/Coaches Carts |
Spectator carts will be limited to those with a state issued handicap placard or documentation of a medical condition. Please be prepared to walk. Coaches will not be provided a golf cart. |
| Parent Policy | Parent Policy: Parents are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all parents remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. |
| Withdrawal and Refund Policy |
If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event by
contacting the TYGA office at 910-673-1000 prior to the day of the tournament.
If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be
suspended from TYGA events for 1 year. Refund Policy: A $20 administrative fee will be charged to all withdrawals. |
| Awards | Trophies are awarded to the championship team, all members of the championship team, the individual boys' champion and the individual girls' champion. The top 5 in the boys' division and the top 5 in the girls' division will be awarded all-state middle school for 2020. |
| Exemptions | The top 5 boys will receive exemptions in to the CGA Dogwood State Junior Boys' Championship. |
| Tournament of Champions | Invitations for the Tournament of Champions will be extended to all division winners in each TYGA one day series event. |
