Entry Fee: $180.00/team (includes lunch)
Registration and payment must be submitted by Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
Format: Pinehurst (18 holes, Stroke Play). Partners both drive from the tee and then each plays a second shot with the other’s ball. After
the second shot, a choice is made regarding the ball with which the hole will be completed - alternate shots being continued into
the hole. On par three holes, the choice must be made after the tee shots.
Eligibility: Both the father and son* must be members of an MGA Member Club and have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men. Neither father nor son may have a Handicap Index that exceeds 18.0 under the USGA Handicap System. All entrants are subject to the MGA Rules and Regulations.
A father may register to play more than once with two different sons, under the condition that the morning round is the “competitive” round; the afternoon round will not count towards the competition.
Note: If the championship fills to capacity, the second father-son pair will be placed on the waitlist until a spot becomes available.
*Those with legal guardianship may also participate.*
Westchester Golf Association Championship
(A Team may win both the MGA & WGA Championship) If both the Father & Son are members of a WGA Member Club, their score
will be counted towards both the MGA Championship and the WGA Championship.
Long Island Golf Association Championship
(A Team may win both the MGA & LIGA Championship) If both the Father & Son are members of a LIGA Member Club, their score
will be counted towards both the MGA Championship and the LIGA Championship.
