Father-Son Super Senior Division Player Information

Format & Prizes
The format is 18-holes of alternate shot except that both team members hit from each tee and then select the ball to be played (modified alternate shot).  A team must complete the hole with the ball selected. Teams are flighted according to team handicap index formula using 2/3 low index plus 1/3 high index. Merchandise credit will be awarded to winners in each division.
Eligibility Entry is open to any team comprised of a father and son, stepfather and stepson, father-in-law and son-in-law or grandfather and grandson. Both team members must be amateurs. At least one member of each team must: 1. be 65 years of age or older; 2. be a legal resident of one of the Carolinas; 3. must have an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index® at a CGA member club or is a golf professional employed at a CGA member club. 
Course Setup Team member age 65 or older: 5600 yards
Team member ages 14-64: 6000-6200 yards
Team member ages 12-13: 5600 yards
Team member ages 8-11: 4900 yards
Site Assignments Site assignments are not determined until after the close of entries. Site assignments and practice round information will be posted and emailed to you by 5:00pm on July 18.
Starting Times Will be posted and emailed by 5:00pm on July 18.
Registration There is no formal registration on the day of the event.
Spectator & Caddie Information Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships. Spectators are not allowed to ride in a player’s golf cart at any time or rent a spectator cart except as provided in the CGA Tournament Manual.
Caddie Information: Caddies are NOT permitted.
