ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The English Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship for golfers with a disability is open to male and female golfers and is played by 36 holes of stroke play over two days, 18 holes being played on each day.
The winner is the competitor who returns the lowest gross score over 36 holes. Prizes are also awarded for the lowest net scores (both male and female playing categories) with a Handicap Index of scratch (or lower) to 18.4.
Players with a Handicap Index of 18.5 to 36.0 will play in a separate 36 hole stableford competition category of the main Championship with prizes are awarded for the highest stableford scores.
Players must hold an EDGA Access or World Rankings Pass or hold a national or international deaf sport classification.

The Prince's Bishop course at Ramside Hall Golf Club has spirit of adventure and features 16 water hazards, reachable par 5’s, driveable par 4’s, and short holes that demand shot-making skills from wedge to woods. Designer Jonathan Gaunt laid out a golf course that delivers risk and reward golf at its best.
