2024 DELOREAN SERIES

To allow our maintenance staff the ability to work without interruption, we will be closing down 9 holes on the golf course each day for 3 days for green aeration. We’ve decided to have a little fun with it and are organizing three small stakes tournaments to take advantage of the situation. Play in any one tournament, or all three; each day it’s $67, which includes your green fee, a riding cart, and a small bucket plus tournament entry fee.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9TH – THROWBACK LINKS CLASSIC

Go back in time and play the Village Links on as close a recreation as possible of the original 18-hole course. You will play holes 1-9 of the 9-hole course, followed by holes 1-3 and 13-18 of the 18-hole course. These are the two original nine-hole courses when the Village Links first opened in 1967 until the routing was changed in 1977 after the addition of the Link-Up Nine in 1975. There will be no aerated greens on any of the holes.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10TH – BROKEN LINK OPEN

Slide into an alternate timeline and experience the Village Links in an entirely new way with a new crazy routing. You will play holes 1-6 of the 9-hole course, followed by holes 4-12 of the 18-hole course, finishing with holes 7-9 of the 9-hole course. This may get a little bumpy in the middle with 9 of 18 holes aerated.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11TH – LINK-UP NINE + 9 CHALLENGE

Come back to the future and play 18 holes on the 18-hole course, but things will be just a little different: the Link-Up Nine retains its original routing. You will play holes 1-3, then 7 & 6, then 10-12, then 4 & 5, then 8 & 9, then 13-18 on the 18-hole course. It will be like the wild west out there with all the greens will be aerated.
