ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The English Under 25 Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship is a 54 hole stroke play Championship played over three days.

A maximum of 66 men and 66 women will play 18 holes on each of the first two days. After 36 holes, the leading 30 men and 30 women competitors and those tying for 30th place(s), play a further 18 holes on the third day. These are separate Championships.

NEXT YEAR'S VENUE

The Duchess' Course, designed by Charles Lawrie, encompasses a ridge across the 5th and 11th fairways, which are the site of an ancient Danish settlement.

The narrow fairways and approaches to the green make accurate driving and pinpoint iron play the order of the day.
