YARDAGES

If you play golf regularly, then play from the yardage you usually play from. One of our core values at The First Tee is INTEGRITY.  Due to the fact that we have a large variation of experience and skill level in our tournament, we respectfully ask that you demonstrate this core value as you decide which tees you each should play. Below is a guideline:

  • Men with handicap 9 or below - Blue Tees (6200 yards)
  • Boys 15-17 / Men 65 & under with handicap 10 or above – White Tees (5800 yards)*
  • Boys 13-14 / Men 66 & older – Gold Tees (5400 yards)*
  • Boys 11-12 / Girls 13 & older / Women – Red Tees (4800 yards)
  • Boys 9-10 / Girls 11-12 – Green Fairway Markers (3500 yards)
  • Boys 8 & under / Girls 10 & under – White Fairway Markers (2600 yards)

(Example: 68 year old man with a 7 handicap plays White tees)
