SCRATCH – MENS CHAMPIONSHIP

Entries close 30 April 2024

 

• Men’s Singles Scratch Stroke Play Championship over 36 holes across 2 days.

 

• Members of NAPGC Clubs may enter directly to the national final.

 

• All play is off scratch.

 

• In the event of entries exceeding 30, players will be balloted out on handicap index at time of the draw.

 

• The competition shall be played as follows:
  • Round 1 – Saturday 17 August 2024, 18 holes on the Hotchkin Course, Woodhall Spa 
  • Round 2 – Sunday 18 August 2024, 18 holes on the Bracken Course, Woodhall Spa

 

• Trophies and prizes will be awarded at the national final as follows: Best Gross Score – Scratch Trophy; Regional Trophies - Best remaining gross scores from Southern, Midlands and Northern region clubs; further prizes will be dependent on entries and at the discretion of the Competition Organiser.

 

• The scratch champion shall be invited to represent the NAPGC in the EG County Champion of Champions.

 

• The entry fee shall be £100. Entries will not be accepted without payment.

• Please note, players wishing to also compete for the trophies and prizes in the men’s championship of England, which is played in conjunction with Round 2, will need to separately enter and qualify.
