Format:  18 Hole Stableford (Net & Gross) Event

 

Tees:  Member’s Division will play from the BLUE-Front Nine/WHITE-Back Nine tees; Men’s Division will play from the Red tees; Women’s Division will play from the Green tees.

 

Handicap:  Indexes will be computed as of the May 15th GHIN Revision.

 

Rules of Play:  The 2017 – 2018 USGA Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the Mass Golf rules card.  The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the site.  It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Conditions of the Competition.

 

Distance Measuring Devices: The use of distance measuring devices is permitted.

 

Starting Time:  The event will be tee times starting at 8:00 AM at 10 minute intervals off of the 1st tee

 

Prizes:  Pro Shop credit will be awarded to the top finishers (Gross & Net) in the MEMBER division. Pro Shop credit will be awarded to the top finishers (Net) in the Women’s and Men’s Divisions.

 

Pro-Shop and Practice Range Hours:  Practice range facilities will be available at 7:00 A.M. There is no range at BGC, only a hitting net.

 

Dress Code: Collared Shirts Mandatory. No Jeans, Cargo Shorts or Jean Shorts. Any questions please refer to the host club policy.

 

Food and Beverage:  There will be a hot dog/chip/soda/water option 11:30 - 2:30, but no other food or beverages will be available. The bar and restaurant will be closed on Monday.  CASH ONLY

 

Care of the Course: Please rake all bunkers, repair all divots and ball marks, and prevent unnecessary damage.

 

Pace of Play: Please try to keep up a 15 minute per hole, 4.5 hours round pace during all Member Days. Playing fast will ensure an enjoyable day for all!
