Teeing Ground:
All Participants will play the Blue Tees
9 Hole Matches
Matches will be conducted on the Front Nine or the Back Nine. If your match begins on the Front Nine, please go to the 1st Hole after completing Hole #9. If your match begins on the Back Nine, please go to the 10th Hole after completing Hole #18.
Team Buy-In:
Cash Buy In - Cash Payout (Day Money and Saturday Closest to the Holes)
Each flight has a separate pot for the team buy-in. Payouts are determined by points accumulated, within flight, each day of the tournament. Amount: $300 per team (Cash Only) Please buy in to this team side pot on Wednesday, June 19th at Registration or on Thursday morning ,before Match #1 begins.
Payouts for the Closest to the Hole on Saturday will be on all par 3's. Two CTH per Par 3, one for each handicap division. Field divided by Handicap Index into two divisions. Payout per CTH is $320 per player, limit one per player.
Closest to the Hole Prizes on Thursday. Same Divisions, All Par 3's, will win a certificate for a foursome at select country clubs across the state.
Daily Payout: One third of the pot will be paid out each day. Teams may win each day. Payof is based on total points accumulated within flight each day.
Payoff Per Day
1st Place - $300 (50% of pot)
2nd Place - $200 (33% of pot)
3rd Place - $100 (17% of pot)
If a flight is not sold out, percentages will remain the same but dollar amounts will be adjusted.
Day Money Ties
Ties will be broken by the most points earned, in the first match, of the day of the tie.
Classic Final Derby
All flight winners will advance to the Classic Scotch Final.
Format
A six-hole, two-person team, modified Scotch (Alternate-Shot) shoot out.
Scotch Final - All Teams
The eight flight winners will all meet at the tenth tee. Prior to teeing off, teams must decide which player will tee off. After teeing off, players till alternate shot until the ball is holed out. All teams will play Holes #10, 11 and 14 in an aggregate format. The low four teams will be determined and these four teams will advance.
Scotch Final - Low Four Teams
The low four teams will then meet at Hole #16. These four teams will play Scotch aggregate stroke play for the final three holes (Holes #16,17 and 18).
Classic Champion
The team with the lowest net score (combined Holes #16,17,18).
Ties
Scotch Final - All Teams
If a tie exists after Holes #10, 11 and 14, a chip-off will between tying teams will determine who advances to the final three holes.
Scotch Final - Low Four Teams
If a tie exists after play of Holes #16, 17 and 18, a sudden-death playoff will determine the winner. The playoff will begin on Hole #18 and will continue until a Classic Champion is determined.
Scotch Final - Handicaps
Handicaps for the Scotch Finals will be 50% of the combined team handicaps used during matchplay competition. Holes used for the shoot-out
will be Holes #10,11 and 14 & Holes #16,17 and 18. We will play off the low handicap group in the championship. A similar process to your individual matches.
