Does my child need their own clubs?
-Each student having their own clubs is strongly encouraged. We do recognize that golf clubs are expensive and recommend looking for a used set if your student is just getting started. We are also able to order child and teen specific sets for you by request. We work with US Kids golf. Always feel free to reach out to us with questions or if you are in need of help.
When should I drop off and pick up my student?
-We recommend dropping your student off about 10-15 minutes before camp "starts" so that we can get rolling on the fun and games! We also ask that you try to be prompt for pick up at noon. Thank you!
Is 30 students too many?
- No, it is not! Do not worry, we will split students up in to age appropriate groups of close to 10 students and they will cycle through stations led by our leaders. We will have three PGA golf professionals and a number of volunteers present every day throughout our time together. If you wish to volunteer, reach out to Daniel at Dspaite@coldspringsgolf.com
What should my golfer expect as a daily flow?
- They will warm up with awesome exercises and obstacle courses, split in to their groups, cycle through stations focused on putting, chipping, and full swings, and they will have ample opportunities for breaks (from the heat) and to use the restroom. On our last day we will have a skills challenge showdown, with prizes on the line. You are welcome to join us for the challenges on Thursday!
Will there be snacks?
- The only food we will have is fruit, free of charge, and we will have daily otter pops and water. We encourage students not to bring any food with them, just to be cautious of potential food allergies in the group.
Can my child go to both camps?
- Absolutely! The same rates will apply but you may send a student to either or both camps.
