2023 Stampede Registration Process

June 14th - 17th, 2023

Registration Opens -   

Registration Closes - Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 04:00 PM

 

 

ENTRY FEE = $1500

  • The only additional money you will be responsible for is the Calcutta if you purchase a team.
  • 50% of the fee will be billed in April, and the other 50% will be billed in May.

 

CANCELLATION FEE

  • If you withdraw for any reason after the field is set, you will forfeit a $250 cancellation fee. This rule applies to entries from all different methods. The sponsor fee is non-refundable. All cancellation fees will be added to the Grand Champion’s purse.
  • If you withdraw seven days before the event, you are responsible for 100% of your entry and the cancellation fee.

 

FIELD SIZE = 72 TEAMS

  • 1 – Owner Billy Sapp
  • 1 – Immediate past champion
  • 48 – Preferred Entries (Local Golf/Local Junior Golf/Legacy/Regional/National/Non-Resident Members)
  • 4 – Preferred Entries (New members who join from April 1st, 2022 – March 31st, 2023)
  • 6 – Sponsor Entries
  • 12 – Lottery Drawing Entries

 

PREFERRED ENTRIES

In order to reward those who support the club, the preferred entry method has been established.  After the entry deadline, the golf staff will choose the members with the highest point totals for each membership classification for automatic entry into the Stampede.  The tiebreaker will be based on the order below (1-5).  Each member will receive points based on the following criteria:

1.  Years as a full dues-paying golf member of any type as of the practice round.  (.5 points per full year a member) 

    • A resignation will terminate any prior years as a member.  
    • A downgrade to a non-golf membership will only freeze your accumulated years and will not terminate years earned before your downgrade.
    • Years as a dependent are also not included in the total. 

2.  Years as a Grand Champion of Stampede (1 point per win as a member or guest)

3.  Member golf event participation from the previous calendar year (1 point per event played)

    • Orange Ball Spring Scramble, The Lasso, Men’s Team or Individual Match Play, Triple Crown, Men’s Club Championship, Round-Up, Casey’s Revenge, Lewis and Clarke, and The Chili Open

4.  Number of golf member referrals who join from April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023. 

    • 5 Points for Local Golf or Local Junior Golf
    • 3 Points for Regional Golf, or Limited
    • 1 Point for National Golf or Student
      • Referrals must be presented to our membership director by the new member at the time of joining.

5.  Ancillary dollars spent on all things, excluding dues & annual service fees.  (1 point per $1,000 spent from April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023.  $4,400 would equal 4.4 points). 

    • To gain credit, all purchases must be billed to your member account. The member must be present when any of these purchases are made and must be the official organizer and host of larger private events.
    • Food & Beverage purchases in all outlets (Grille, Pool Snack Shop, and Golf Snack Shop)
      • Includes food, beer, wine, liquor, and private catered events.
    • Golf purchases
      • Includes golf cart fees, guest fees, golf instruction, and merchandise purchases.
    • Locker rental & services
    • Fitness & Tennis classes and training sales

 

 

DRAWING ENTRIES

Golf members of any classification who do not qualify for a preferred entry will be placed in the lottery drawing.  After the conclusion of the drawing, the remaining participants will be placed on a waitlist starting with the highest preferred points.

 

To enter, your account must be paid up to date by April 1st, 2023. If your account is not in good standing, you be automatically be removed from the entry list.
