The fine folks of Iowa and NLU's Great Plains Golf Club bring you a rebranded 2023 ROOST MAJOR formerly known as Strapped Iowa Bolt to the Bud Tent Blowout which was a bigger mouthful than a scorching hot OMG fried chicken donut sandwich. Held over two days during the Iowa State Fair -- the home of the Infamous life-sized dairy cow made of actual edible butter! -- The Butter Cow invites all participants from the public to compete in a Net Quota Game to determine a winner and automatic qualification into NLU's annual NIT event in Frisco, Texas.

Inspired by No Laying Up's premiere episodes of its darling, underserved golf travel series Strapped, The Butter Cow welcomes you this summer to Iowa Golf!
