2023 GAM Registration Test Tournament
This "tournament" was created to give GAM Tournament and Golf Day players the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Golf Genius registration system prior to the first wave of registration openings on February 15 at 10 a.m.. It is not a real tournament in any way, shape, or form.
There is a $5 "entry fee" attached to this tournament. If you want to practice the whole registration and payment process, the $5 would be considered a donation to the GAM Foundation. A tax-deductible donation to the GAM Foundation, a 501c3 organization, helps support programming to make golf available to the widest possible audience in Michigan. The GAM Foundation operates Youth on Course Michigan — an investment in the local future of the game. Our simple goal is to help more kids play more golf for $5 or less at our partner facilities. A separate tax-donation receipt will be sent to you at the end of the month.
If you would prefer to not make a donation, that is perfectly fine, just exit the payment processing screen when you get to that point and you will still have gone through the tournament registration process up to that point.
A few notes on the registration process:
- This has been set up to allow you to sign up other players as part of the registration, as you would for a team tournament or when signing up an entire group for a GAM Golf Day. The other players you register must also have a GAM Golf Genius account set up.
- Even if you have added your name and information to the GAM Golf Genius system, there is a possibility your GAM Membership may have lapsed. Make sure your membership has been renewed for the 2023 season.
- If you're going through the payment/donation process, please be aware that the billing address you enter on the payment screen MUST match the address on file with the applicable financial institution.
- You will also have the option to make an additional donation of an amount of your choosing to the GAM Foundation as part of the payment process, but again, this is entirely at your discretion.
Please contact tournaments@gam.org if you have any questions.
