Ties, Playoffs & Retrogression (2023)
- The Committee will determine the playoff hole(s), and/or rotation of holes, until a winner is determined.
- In case of a tie for the overall Champions Cup Team position and/or overall Individual Champions Cup divisions, there will be a playoff using a Sudden Victory (Hole-by-Hole) Playoff. The winner will be:
- Team Competition, a combined two-person team with the highest total points.
- Individual Competition will be the player with the higher point total.
- All other divisions/ties will be determined using the following retrogression:
- The highest Point Total of the last 18-holes completed
- If there is still a tie, the highest Point Total of the last nine holes most recently completed back 9 holes, regardless of where a team/individual started,
- If there is still a tie, the highest Point Total of the last six holes most recently completed back 9 holes, regardless of where a team/individual started,
- If there is still a tie, the highest Point Total of the last three holes most recently completed back 9 holes, regardless of where a team/individual started,
- If there is still a tie, the highest Point Total of the last hole of the most recently completed round, regardless of where a team/individual started,
- If there is still a tie, the above process will be used for the front nine,
- In the extreme case of identical scorecards and point totals for all holes played, the a sudden victory playoff will be used, as listed above.
