31st Senior Four-Ball Championship

Event Overview 

 

 

Registration Opens: April 1 at 9 a.m.

 

Registration Closes: August 14 at 5:00 p.m. 

 

Registration Fee: $490 per team (includes cart fee, range fees, lunches and prizes)

 

Format: 36-hole four-ball stroke play.

 

Eligibility: Open to male players who are members of a PAGA Member Club or PAGA Individual Members who are residents of the State of Pennsylvania.

Senior Division teams must have both players have celebrated their 55th birthday before the first round of competition. 

Super-Senior teams must have both players celebrate their 65th birthday before the first round of competition.

 

Field: Limited to 72 teams. The Senior field will be composed of the 46 lowest combined indexes and the Super-Senior Division will be composed of the lowest 26 lowest combined Indexes. 

 

Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is required. 

 

Food & Beverage: A lunch buffet will be provided each day of competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included in the entry fee. Additional F&B purchases will be available.

 

Practice Rounds: To schedule a practice round, Please call 570-233-5329.  Practice round rate is $40 including cart.

 

Hotel:  TBD

 

Pairings: Players will be in foursomes teeing off in 12-minute intervals. Final round pairings will be determined by the team's 18-hole score.

 

Start Times: The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry form, will determine pairings and tee times.

 

Ties: In the event of a tie for each division, there will be a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. All other ties will be broken via the USGA recommended method of scorecard tiebreak.

 

Prizes: Each division winner will receive crystal prizes while other top teams in each division will receive gift certificates.

 

Weather: Should weather delay play beyond the end of first day play, the competition will not be extended and the championship will be shortened to 18-holes.
