Provincial Team Eligibility

 

The top three (3) finishers will comprise the Nova Scotia Men's Mid-Amateur Championship Team.

 

A team member must be a resident of Nova Scotia and a member in good standing of Golf Canada and Golf NS.

 

In the event of a tie for either the Championship and/or a Team Position, a sudden-death victory playoff will be held.  Playoff details will be provided within the event's Notice to Competitors.

 

 

 

Provincial Team Funding

 

Golf NS will provide financial assistance, to all players representing Team Nova Scotia at the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship (max 3 person team).  Funding is based on the location of the respective national championship. 

 

The funding breakdown is as follows:

 

  • NS / NB / PE - $425 per team member

  • NL / ON / QC - $875 per team member

  • SK / MB / AB - $1325 per team member

  • BC - $1750 per team member

 

Team members will be responsible for booking all championship registration and travel details.

 

Once a team member successfully completes the national championship, funding support will be issued by the Golf NS office.
