The game of golf is much like the game of life.  You get bad breaks from good shots and
good breaks from bad shots-sometimes!  That proved to be true on August 2nd for many of
of the players at Aldeen Golf Course who were playing in the second round of the Illinois
State Junior Girls’ Championship. Beautiful weather again prevailed, and all the girls played
their best.  Jillian Cosler survived an exciting 1 hole playoff with a par after being tied after
day two with Nicole Johnson.  Many players rode the roller coaster of golf for 2 days, but
in the end new friends were made and the young ladies seemed to thoroughly enjoy the
championship. And now, for some, on to college!
