2023 Wednesday Evening Golf League

Schedule:  Season to begin May 10th – August 23rd

Format:         

• Shotgun start at 5:30 each week, 9 holes.
• Sign up as a two person team or we will help match you with someone.
• You will play with your same partner each week; however, if one of you have to miss golf you’re welcome to find someone to come play in your place.  Otherwise the PGA Staff will assist in pairing you up.
• This group is all about having fun.  If you’d like to keep score great, if not, that’s great too!  The main premise of this group is to enjoy golf, as much or as little as you desire, with your friends at KCC!
• There are very few rules in this league, but one suggestion is that you don’t score more than “4 over par” on any hole.  This means that after you score a 7, 8 or 9 on a par 3, 4 or 5, respectively, you put your ball in your pocket, take a deep breath, relax, laugh, and move on. This keeps pace of play moving and reduces frustration.  
• There is childcare available on Wednesday evenings.
• Most players will enjoy dinner afterward at the clubhouse.
• There is a beverage cart on the course on Wednesday nights.

Handicaps: You don’t need a handicap to play in this league.  If you don’t have a handicap, it is a great way to establish one.  You may input it yourself each week in the computer in the pro shop or online using an app.  Either way the PGA Staff is there is assist with this.

Weekly Event: There is a weekly event that you can participate in if you want, but it’s not required.  

Golf carts, walking, and caddies:     All are acceptable and available each week.  If you have never taken a caddie, we will do a ‘caddie night’ at least once during the season where we all take one and learn what they do – and don’t do – for us, how to pay, how to score them and how to tip them!  

League Fee:   $75
