Day 1 Recap:

After the tough conditions of the golf course on the opening round of the Columbia Point Open Championship, two players find themselves tied a top of the leaderboard. Canyon Lakes, Greg Hanson and Columbia Point's own, Eli Harrell have a share for the lead at 71 (+1). Local club professional, Cameron Sjolund sits in 3rd after an opening round 73 (+3) with the longtime 'Point player, Ryan Payne in 4th after firing a 74 (+4) to open his championship. Rounding out the top 5 includes two amateurs and one professional all sitting at 75 (+5). 

Playing conditions should expect to become easier on Saturday but set up for a true test of who the best player is on Sunday. Tee times begin at 7am with the Seniors and Women joining the field tomorrow across their own 36-hole championship.
