RCGA rules apply with these local rules:

 

Tee Blocks: Tee off from the Western Open blocks

 

Scramble format: involves 2 person teams where each player on the team hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better. The two players then play from that spot. The person who's shot was not taken picks up their ball and moves it to within 12 inches of the selected spot (no closer to hole and same cut of grass ie fairway or rough). Once on the green both players will putt from the chosen players ball mark and proceed to the next putt until the ball is holed. 

 

Any team requiring a round 2 teammate substitution(s) is deemed ineligible to win there flight.
 

 

Yardage Devises: are permitted

 

Ground under repair, roads, paths- free relief, drop 1 club length from nearest point of relief, no closer to the hole. 

 

White stakes are out of bounds, Red stakes are lateral drop. 

 

Championship Flight Playoff:

At the conclusion of round 1 play, if there is tie to get in the Championship flight, there will be a sudden death playoff between the tied teams. Holes 1,10,11,9 will be played in succession until a winner is determined. 

A sudden death playoff for championship flight will be played if necessary following the conclusion of the 2nd round to determine a winner. Holes 1, 10, 11, 9 will be played in succession until a winner is determined. All other flights a count back will be used to determine the flight winner. 

 

Inclement Weather Policy: If at least one hole has been completed in flighted round play and the round cannot be completed due to inclement weather; the team with the lowest score at that time will be declared the flight winner. If the round cannot be completed at all the team with the lowest qualifying score will be declared the winner of the flight.
