Event Overview 

 

Registration Opens: April 1 at 9 a.m.

 

Registration Closes: May 29 at 5:00 p.m.

 

Registration Fee: $490 per team (includes cart fees/range fees/lunches/prizes)

 

Format: 36 holes of four-ball stroke play, two-day event

 

Eligibility: Open to amateur golfers who (1) were female at birth, (2) are members of a club that belongs to the PAGA or are an Individual Member of the PAGA, and (3) have a USGA Handicap Index of 32.0 or lower. All entries are subject to approval by the Committee. Partners do not need to belong to the same club.

 

Divisions:  Players are limited to playing in one division. 

 

 Amateur Division: Will play from approximately 5,800 yards. Open to all ages

 Senior Division: Will play from approximately 5,300 yards. Both players must have reached their 50th birthday at the time of the first round.

 

Field: Limited to 54 teams. 

 

Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is required for this event, the fee of $35 per person per day is included with your entry fee and includes range balls.

 

Food & Beverage: A lunch buffet will be provided each day of competition and is included in the entry fee. Additional F&B purchases will be available.

 

Practice Rounds: Contact the Moselem Springs Pro Shop at 610-944-7616 to schedule a time.

 

Hotel: Hotel rooms available at the Hampton Inn, Kutztown.

 

Pairings: Play will be in foursomes at 10-minute intervals on the second day.  Final-round pairings will be based on the player's first round score.  

 

Start Times: Day One will be an afternoon Shotgun (1:00) with Day Two being tee times (beginning at 8 AM) with order of play determined by first round score. 

 

Ties: In the event of a tie for the lowest score in either division, there will be a sudden death playoff immediately following play. All other ties will be broken via the USGA recommended scorecard tiebreaker method.

 

Prizes: The lowest 36-hole score in each division will be declared champions and receive trophies. Additional prizes will be awarded to the low finishers in each division.

 

Weather: Should weather delay extend beyond the end of the scheduled tournament dates, the competition will not be extended and the competition will be shortened.
