Welcome to the 2023 Golfplay Winter Ladies League!

Waterloo Location

• Note - If the opening of Waterloo is delayed beyond January 23rd, the league will begin on the first week after our opening date and will still run a full 14 weeks.

• 14 week league starting the week of January 23, 2023 and ending the week of April 24, 2023.   

• Your foursome can choose to play your weekly round on Monday evenings, with tee times available at 4:30; 5:00; 6:30; 7:00; 8:30; 9:00

• Tee times are available on a first-come, first-paid basis - once you select your time, it's yours for the entire 14 week season.

• • Pick your day and time immediately after registration fee is paid 

  • Select one player from the "Search for a Player" drop down list then hit "Select" beside your group's desired day and time

  • You can see what times are available before registering by selecting the tab "Tee Sheets" - "Open Tee Times Registration"

• Rounds will be played on one of our 200+ courses. We'll play a different course every week in stroke play, individual score format. Each foursome's round is to be completed in the allotted time of 1 hour 55 minutes (just under 30 minutes per player). If your group finishes early, you are welcome to use the remaining time to play a few more holes or practice until time is up.

• We will be putting players into flights after the second week. The number of flights will be determined after registration and after the first two week's scores have been recorded. 

• Each week, prizes will be awarded for: Top Gross Score (Flighted after week two), Top Net Score (Flighted after week two), Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt, and a weekly draw for a Double-Par Nachos Platter! 

• Gross Skins game every week!  $5 each week for those who wish to participate - bring cash please. (Note - no handicaps will be used)

• Yearly point totals are established by weekly ranking in the player's designated flight based on net scoring. Note that all net scores will be calculated using 80% of the Golfzon Handicap, adjusted for 9 holes

• A Golfplay League Champion will be crowned in each flight after the last week based on their yearly point total. Prizes will be handed out for the winners of each flight!

• Registration fee of $500 plus HST per foursome includes weekly & year-end prizes, league administration and end-of-season food on final night. There is a weekly green fee of $25.00 + HST per player. 

• REGISTRATION is online only!

  • Each player's handicap - Estimate if you have to but an accurate number is important!
