Hello Players:

 

Welcome back to the Silicon Valley Amateur at Baylands Golf Links. The tournament was originally scheduled for January but the weather pushed us to February 25-26.  Here is some information about the tournament:

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

Baylands Golf Links will provide tournament players with the Links card rate which is variable but match the lowest available at the time you want to play. Call the pro shop at (650) 856-0881 and identify yourself as a tournament player when making a tee time. Approximate rates are $65-$75 walking.

 

TEES

The Championship division will play the Black Tees, while the Senior division will play the Blue tees.

 

SCORING

All scoring will be electronic using Golf Genius. I encourage you to download the app if you don't have it already. Each group will be given a unique GGID to use when entering scores and we will verify from a safe distance at the scoring table after the round.

 

SCORE POSTING

We will post scores to GHIN after each round.

 

CADDIES/CARTS

Carts are included in the tournament entry fee. You may take a caddie to either carry your bag and walk, or drive the cart. We do not allow spectator or extra caddie carts, (maximum two carts per group) and we have a strict rule against riding on the back of carts for safety reasons. Please plan accordingly. The course is very walkable.
