Tapps Island Golf Club Code of Conduct

 

1. Respect and Sportsmanship

• Treat all members, guests, staff, and facilities with respect.

  Display good sportsmanship on and off the course.

  Honor the rules and etiquette of golf at all times.

2. Course Etiquette

• Repair ball marks, replace divots, and rake bunkers to maintain the course's quality.

  Keep pace with the group ahead and allow faster groups to play through.

  Follow all local course rules and guidelines.

3. Attire and Appearance

• Dress in appropriate golf attire while on the course and in the clubhouse.

  Maintain clean and presentable attire, following the club’s dress code.

4. Safety

• Prioritize safety for yourself, fellow players, and spectators at all times.

  Adhere to course safety guidelines, including proper use of golf carts.

5. Communication and Conduct

• Communicate respectfully with fellow members, staff, and guests.

  Avoid disruptive behavior that may disturb others’ enjoyment of the game.

6. Alcohol and Substance Use

• Consume alcohol responsibly and in accordance with club policies.

  Refrain from using illegal substances while on club premises.

7. Compliance

• Abide by all club rules, policies, and regulations.

  Report any concerns or violations to the club management for appropriate action.

8. Representation of the Club

• Uphold the reputation of Tapps Island Golf Club in interactions with others.

  Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects positively on the club.

9. Continuous Improvement

• Embrace a spirit of continuous improvement in both golf skills and conduct.

  Encourage a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all members.

10. Adherence to Local Laws

• Comply with all local laws and regulations while on club premises.
