PLAYER CONDUCT:
- City Championship participants are expected to uphold the spirit of the game by conducting themselves with proper etiquette, integrity, and respect.
- Failure to adhere to the attached Player Conduct policy will not be tolerated and will result in loss of playing privileges in future events.
Eligibility/Field:
- Open to any 2-person team consisting of amateurs who have resided in Charleston County, Dorchester County, or Berkeley County as of time of registration
- Must be at least 18 years of age as of March 11, 2023
- Entry deadline is Monday, February 28th at 5PM (unless field is full prior to this date)
- Once registered, you will be notified via e-mail whether your team is confirmed or on the waitlist
ENTRY FEE/REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- $300/Team - Includes tournament green fees, riding carts, meal Saturday, range balls before play, tee gift, and prizes
- Entry Fee must be paid in full on the City's Webtrac Payment Portal within 48 hours of registration to be guaranteed a place in the field
- To Register:
- Complete all required fields and submit your team on Golf Genius (you will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately with payment instructions)
- Once registered on Golf Genius, you will have 48 hours to pay for your entry in Rectrac
- To complete payment, log in to City of Charleston's Webtrac/Rectrac by using the link in your confirmation e-mail or going to Municipal Golf Course home page at www.charleston-sc.gov/golf and click on "City Championship Series" and "City Four Ball"
- If team is not paid prior to deadline, your spot may be removed and opened for those on waitlist.
FORMAT/RULES:
- 36-Hole Four Ball Stroke Play
- Field will consist of an Overall Division and Senior Division (both players 60+)
- Overall Division will play from the Blue Tees
- Senior Division (Teams consisting of players age 60+) will play from Gold Tees
- Field will be flighted for Sunday's round. Flights will be determined by Saturday's total team score
- USGA legal distance measuring devices are approved for tournament rounds
- Caddies are permitted for tournament rounds, but carts will be limited to one per team
- Cart Fees are included in your tournament entry.
TEE TIMES/SCORING/RESULTS:
- Saturday (Round 1) tee times will be posted by Wednesday, March 8th at 5PM on Golf Genius
- Sunday (Round 2) tee times will be posted within 2 hours of conclusion of Round 1 on Golf Genius
- All teams will be asked to record hole-by-hole scores at the completion of each hole using the Golf Genius app (information to access scoring will be provided at check-in)
- All tee times, live scoring, and results will be available at Golfgenius.com or in the Golf Genius app using GGID: 4BALL2023
