Ocean Winds 

Format

Holes 1 through 9

Captain’s Choice Scramble - Both players hit from the tee.  The best shot is selected, and both players may place their ball within one club length, no nearer the hole and in the same condition (rough, bunker, etc.), and play from that point.  This process is repeated until the ball is holed

 

Holes 10 through 18

Four-Ball Stroke Play - Each player plays their own ball.  The better ball of the two constitutes the team score. The ball may be moved up to one club in your own fairway.

 

 

Crooked Oaks

 

Format: 

Holes 1 through 9

Modified Alternate Shot: Both players hit from the tee. The players then select from which ball they wish to play and begin alternate shot until the ball is holed. The ball may be moved up to 1 club length in the fairway.  Reminder: never in this format does a player hit his own ball on consecutive shots.

 

Holes 10 through 18

Shamble - Both players hit from the tee then select from which tee shot they wish to play.  Each player will then play their own ball from that point into the hole. The ball may be moved up to 1 club length in the fairway.  If the chosen ball is not in the fairway, the original ball must be played as it lies and the partner’s ball must be dropped within one club length of the original ball, no nearer the hole.  The better net ball of the twosome constitutes the team score on each hole.

 

 

Tees:  Ladies will play from the Finch (yellow), Heron (blue) tees or Pelican (yellow/blue) tees. Men will play from the Osprey (black), Egret (white tees) or the Finch (yellow) tees.
